Powder is the cheapest, pods the most expensive. We use liquid because historically it was recommended for septic systems, though I’ve heard newer powder formulations have less filler and may not be an issue anymore. Liquid is just as convenient as pods, especially if your washer has built-in measuring lines, and it’s often more cost effective.
